About the Position
Is video one of your natural creative mediums? Does digital + marketing sound like the perfect pair? Love capturing photos and video across a diverse industry range? We need you! The Videographer / Video Producer (VVP) at LKF Marketing is responsible for executing the filming and design of video assets. The VVP works under the direction of the Makers Director (MD) and Art Director (AD) to develop and maintain the quality and consistency of client projects. The VVP interacts with all departments and reports to the MD.
Requirements
This full-time position (minimum of 32 hour per week) requires refined videography skills paired with the ability to understand and apply design guidelines across all types of media. Clear communication skills, trouble-shooting ability, file organization, and collaboration skills are critical. Familiarity with Agile Methods and Design Thinking concepts are preferred. Candidates must be experts in Adobe CC applications (Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). Being a licensed drone pilot and experience in various web content management systems (WordPress, etc.) is a plus.
Primary Responsibilities
- Shooting and editing for in-house video projects
- Design to client brand standards
- Create assets for social media and web projects
- Support the Creative team with design work as needed
- Maintain client assets
Other Duties
- Meet project deadlines/work within time allowances
- Monitor video trends/R&D
- Design to application/typographic best practices
- Review designs for message, quality control and look and feel
- Meet with account team, MD, or AD to collaborate on concepts
and execution of client projects as required - Participate in bi-monthly creative department team meetings and
contribute to department and company projects
Education
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Video Production or similar with at least five years of experience in a professional environment, agency, or similar.
