KALAMAZOO, Mich.—LKF Marketing recently received a Silver Davey Award and a Silver W3 Award for a website project for Wightman.
Both awards are presented by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) annually to recognize the top creative works from a range of firms and companies. Thousands of entrants worldwide submitted their projects for consideration.
In 2019, Wightman partnered with LKF Marketing to update their website with the primary goal of developing an online marketing tool to cohesively translate the firm’s organizational capabilities and branding. The resulting website effectively reflects each of Wightman’s disciplines, values, projects, and brand message.
With four Michigan locations and a wide range of services including architecture, surveying, planning, and engineering, the Wightman website design also balances information about the company’s nearly 75-year history and various locations and services in a concise and engaging design.
“It was fulfilling to assist such an established organization like Wightman,” said Heather Isch, LKF Marketing's President and Owner. “Seeing all of the hard work come to fruition in the form of these awards is an honor.”
Jamie Balkin, Wightman's Director of Marketing, said, “Working alongside a marketing partner that was devoted to sharing our brand’s story was truly a delight. LKF took the time to make sure that they understood our culture, client offerings, and technical requirements.”
The Davey and W3 awards are judged by AIVA, an organization that consists of professionals from various fields within the visual arts community, including a range of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms such as Disney, Microsoft, MTV, and Yahoo!
