In 2012, Hastings approached LKF with creating a website with a twist. With hundreds of products available, Hastings wanted their website to be used as a tool by customers to easily spec any product Hastings offered. LKF designed a homepage as a user dashboard.
The majority of interaction the user had with the site happened on the homepage, making it quick and easy for customers to find what they needed - which was mainly to find products. LKF also utilized a tool to make the Hastings entire catalog accessible electronically via their website.
Eight years later, Hastings’ found that their site’s design needed an update and once again turned to LKF for assistance. The updated version was launched in 2020 featuring additional security and accessibility.
In terms of lifetime statistics, Hastings’ site has seen more than 700,000 sessions and 11,000,000 pageviews, 1.92 sessions per user, an average session duration of 2:55, and a bounce rate of 33.82%.
