KRWC's website encourages citizens to "Be River Wise."
LKF began working with the Kalamazoo River Watershed Council (KRWC) in order to unite the greater Kalamazoo community in restoring, protecting, and enjoying the Kalamazoo River, its tributaries, and its watershed.
The primary goal was to assist with outreach and education with the goal of teaching residents about phosphorous and how their behavior can directly impact the health of the river and the communities surrounding it. To accomplish this, LKF redeveloped the KRWC’s website.
The new KRWC website features callbacks to the “Be River Wise” campaign and serves as a tool for citizens to learn more about how to enjoy and take care of the river. Users are also able to access a donation tool and stay informed on river trails and events. Built in WordPress, the new site allows for KRWC staff to easily edit a majority of aspects themselves.
Designed as part of a campaign, the site integrates KRWC’s other marketing materials as well.
