Cherishing One's Heritage
The Kalamazoo Ladies' Libraray Association (LLA) is the first women's club established in Michigan as well as the second such organization in the United States. Known for its distinctive building downtown, which is recognized through the National Register of Historic Places, the LLA has been a pioneer in its support of women and children's literacy in addition to hosting several community events throughout the year.
Declining membership activity and a lack of community brand awareness led the LLA to seek out help in rebranding. The organization approached LKF in late 2022 and asked us to help it establish brand awareness in a way that honored the club's heritage and legacy. To jumpstart the initiative, the LKF team strategically designed a new logo and also created several collateral materials and a website header.
