Digital Strategy Backed by Compassion
The LIFT Foundation (LIFT) is a nonprofit that has connected Kalamazoo’s vulnerable citizens with affordable housing since 1966. Today, LIFT operates and maintains more than 500 apartments and townhomes dedicated to helping individuals and families in the community.
In early 2021, LIFT began converting the former Knights Inn Motel on South Westnedge Avenue into affordable housing. Dubbed LodgeHouse, this property will feature 60 units, on-site management, and support services for all its residents.
With a $2.5 million fundraising goal, LIFT partnered with LKF Marketing to raise community awareness and financial support.
Thus far, LIFT and LKF’s partnership has resulted in strategic planning, public relations, and a website that was launched in May 2021.
