LKF worked with the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) to create an engaging and fun, yet informative, piece to educate consumers about the wide variety and economic impact of specialty crops grown in Michigan.
Agriculture in Michigan is $90+ billion industry. MDARD is responsible for continuing to build and strengthen Michigan's food and agriculture industry and views consumer education as one way to do this.
LKF designed each crop page in the brochure to feature colorful, crisp imagery of the crop, along with a brief description of the crop's impact on Michigan's economy.
The piece has been a successful educational piece for MDARD, and continues to be updated as statistics change.
